End of a blog . . .
Mike and I started this blog one year ago and documented the first year of our marriage. Our next step will be to create a book of the highlights of this year to remember for the rest of our lives and share with our future children and grandchildren. Thank you for taking this journey with us on our first year. Our love has grown stronger every day and I look forward to the day I write this entry at the end of our 25th and 50th anniversary. This may be the end of a blog but it marks the beginning of the rest our lives.

| Anniversary weekend. For our one-year anniversary Mike reserved a hotel room at the Palomar Hotel and dinner reservations at Craft in Dallas, TX. We are very lucky. |

| Progress. Very slow progress. Apparently Mike has determined doing homework is more important than doing puzzles. That's a good thing. |

| Cupcakes. I baked cupcakes and Mike decided to help by putting frosting on them and adding fruity tic tacs for candy. They were disgusting. |
