End of a blog . . .

Mike and I started this blog one year ago and documented the first year of our marriage. Our next step will be to create a book of the highlights of this year to remember for the rest of our lives and share with our future children and grandchildren. Thank you for taking this journey with us on our first year. Our love has grown stronger every day and I look forward to the day I write this entry at the end of our 25th and 50th anniversary. This may be the end of a blog but it marks the beginning of the rest our lives.

Day 365: October 3, 2011

One year!
We enjoyed the top layer of our wedding cake
and episodes of South Park to celebrate our
first year of marriage.

Day 364: October 2, 2011

Anniversary weekend.
For our one-year anniversary Mike reserved a hotel room
at the Palomar Hotel and dinner reservations
at Craft in Dallas, TX.
We are very lucky.

Day 363: October 1, 2011

Progress.
Very slow progress.
Apparently Mike has determined doing homework is
more important than doing puzzles.
That's a good thing.

Day 362: September 30, 2011

Cupcakes.
I baked cupcakes and Mike decided to help
by putting frosting on them and adding fruity tic tacs for candy.
They were disgusting.

It's Autumn!
Nines looks a little bit grumpy about the weather change,
but I agree with the scarecrow.

Date night.
Never forget to make time for each other.

iPad happiness.
Apparently money can buy happiness.
Or at least distractions.

Birthday blues.
I guess the birthday festivities can't last forever.
Especially when you're grounded to doing homework for a week to catch up.
